Mhhh, I hope I can express things right here. See, Mickeysoft is a company,
they're trying to profit of their products, and to date they managed quite
well
as we see. The programs you told need IE caus they use it. Microsoft decided
to integrate IE, it can be helpfull and it can be bad I agree. But netscape,
and now its worse as they're out of businnes since Aol prefers IE, never
managed to place their products. I mean, it seems to me that Navigator has as
many bugs as IE, but I think this thread becomes a creed war. Everyone can use
what he wants. Please just consider that IE is not as bad as many NNlers
think,
and consider also that mozilla is near to death, and personnally I'd say
Netscape suffers alot of AOL. And, maybe I'm wrong but it seemed to me when
installing the latest communicator that Netscape begun also to integrate
itself
into system roots?

I think it's sure that if browser war is over, both products will be charged.
Now they dont need, as M$ has enough income and AOL may finish the project
"Navigator". But to be honest, when looking at the rebel browsers, they're
moving and I hope they'll be able to take over one day.

To become more ontopic [;)=], I knew a few mail programs that can initiate and
cut RAS-connections, no need of IE (using DLL calls or so). So it must be
possible...

Kindest regards,
Johannes
