good external editor.

Can anyone recommend a good external editor to use with PMMail98?  I do not
want to use wordpad, or notepro but I do need one which can handle more
than 64K and does not modify the saved file name like wordpad insists on
doing.  Of course, if the maker decides to make PMMail's internal editor
capable of handling larger than 64K I won't complain at all, in fact I'd
thoroughly recommend it since there are cases where, for example, news
files like Infobeat cannot be read in their entirety due to the lack of
capable storage of the viewer or editor so an external one needs to be
used.  Thanks.
