    From my understanding that is the next major version which is supposed to
be a complete rewrite from the ground up, seperating the code that actually
does things from the display code and making the former as portable as
possible.  This will let them mate that portable "work" code with different
"display" code for easier porting to future platforms.

    The next release of PMMail99 is just a maintenence release with minor
feature upgrades for the existing code base.

    At present they will not act upon comments on this list.  AFAIK, Bob and
Ike haven't subscribed to it.  :)
