IMAP?

As far as I'm concerned, the main advantage of IMAP over POP3 is
something I'll probably never use.

IMAP lets you store your mail on the IMAP server's media. You can
create all your special mail folders and so on, and filter you messages
into them, and not use up any of your own disk space. Unfortunately, I
keep about 30 Mb of old e-mail, and my ISP, who does support IMAP,
would charge me a fortune for that much storage.
