Perhaps you don't consider NT to be Windows? I have two NT servers
here that have never crashed, and are rebooted at perhaps four month
intervals for software reconfiguration. I have other NT machines
(servers and desktop) that are not stable, but that doesn't make my
previous statement a lie.

My OS/2 machines also divide into stable and unstable according to the
kind of use they are getting. (The stable one is a server running,
among other things, PMMail/2 to perform filtering of the company's mail
before it goes to the users' desktops.)

I have never been able to make a Windows 95/98 stable for as long as a
week - so to that extent I agree with you.
