Mail store and forward gateway setup

After checking around many POP3 servers and sendmail versions, I still
couldn't find a solution for my local setup.

I want to use my PMMail/2 computer (pc1) to function as a
'mail-store-and-forward' gateway as it is the only one directly
connected via a dial-up connection to the internet.

- From a Win95 PC (pc2) running PMMail 2000 I'd like to send mail to
pc1 anytime, but actually send it to the internet only after a say so,
namely when I do connect anyway to fetch new mail.

Receiving mail for pc2 is done nicely by a filter in PMMail and a local
pop3 daemon on pc1.

Does anyone know how to accomplish this on OS/2?

I tried sendmail 8.x.x but it always does nslookups when doing anything
even when started with -ODeliveryMode=d meaning defered mode. It
normally should then only store the mail in the queue directory and wait
until I send the mail off with
sendmail -q

The easisiest way would be a pointer on how to configure sendmail
correctly so that it runs as a mail collector only (without ns
accesses!) and when called with -q to process all mails at once until
done and then sleep again in collectors mode.

What would you use in Linux for this purpose, Steve Lamb?

Thanks for any help, yours
Jocki
