    I wasn't monitoring ping times while mail was going out.  I've made an
offer to host another list who is getting tired of their current server's
shenanigans (onelist.com -> egroups.com -> yahoo.com) and while it is
currently smaller than this list it is also much higher traffic.  400 messages
in 3 days.  With me playing Asheron's Call and Counter-Strike on the same
connection as the mail I don't want to get nailed by lag every time mail goes
through.  So I'm going to be tuning the number of remote connections down from
50 to a point where lag doesn't become an issue.  At that point I'll be able
to throttle the mail server while doing other things.  Mail will still go
through, it will just be slower than if I were letting it have free reign of
my connection.  Also looking at upping my bandwidth to the next tier.
