Excellent!  That's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.

Do you know when OS/2 uses the the TZ variable to actually *change*
the time??  I've never seen it work in all the years I've run it. 
Using Timekeeper/2, set to adjust the clock every 30 minutes, I'm
hoping that it will be a non-manual process this year.
