I don't see adding a bunch of cruft to mail to be progress.  It can only
be ignorance or stupidity or pandering to ignorance and stupidity.  I can
still read and I don't buy USA Today.  I'd hate to see what is arguably
the best of the GUI newreaders screwed up with such crap.  If they do 
include such support and don't make it optional, I'll not be spending any
money on it.
