You know, this is one of the few pet peeves I have with people on
lists.
I have to ask what the HELL were you thinking when you signed up,
huh? Let me
quote the the second paragraph of the welcome letter. It is standard
fare on
ALL mailing list welcome letters.

"Please save this message for future reference, especially if
this is the
first time you have subscribed to an electronic mailing list. If you
ever
need to leave the list, you will find the necessary instructions
below. It is
recommended that you save this message, and all other messages from
mailing
lists, in a separate folder so you will have instant access to the
information
and commands appropriate to each mailing list."

I don't know about you, but I think that was pretty cut and dry.
SAVE
THIS FOR YOU ****WILL**** NEED IT TO UNSUBSCRIBE!!!!! This is a
classic
example of why Microsoft and other large companies that toss the
standards out
the damn window when it comes to email at large. PEOPLE LIKE YOU
DON'T READ
THE INSTRUCTIONS!

Oh, btw, don't worry about it. I'm fed up with it so you know
what,
congrats, you're the first person to ever earn a boot. Sure, won't
hurt you
none since you want off anyway, but maybe you'll learn to read
instructions
next time and HEED them because they are written for people JUST LIKE
YOU.

    Anyone else? Just speak up.
