This is what I was afraid of seeing... PMMail does NOT follow the standard.

Multi-part MIME is a standard, and has nothing to do with M$.  Pegasus Mail 
just happens to have a good implementation of it - I have no idea if M$'s 
implementation is any good.  Somehow, I doubt it.
