I know it's a new feature, but if only PMMail could be set to thread by
the message ID/reference headers like PMINews. BoB and Ike told me that
it was not a trivial rewrite to make PMINews 2.0 do it, so when I asked
about PMMail they said it would be a version 3 thing. Requires a
totally new container for the articles or messages.

Still, you can but hope....
