I tend to think that something hung at my end. When I would try to
fetch, the message didn't blink or reset as it ordinarily would.
Closing and opening PM didn't change. But as soon as I rebooted all
was back to normal.

As to the other question - what is the significance of the continuing
series of error messages:

Tue, 09 Jan 01 21:07:39 ==> Socket Error ; Cannot set send timeout
Tue, 09 Jan 01 21:07:39 ==> Socket Error ; Cannot set receive timeout
Tue, 09 Jan 01 21:07:37 ==> Socket Error ; Cannot set send timeout
Tue, 09 Jan 01 21:07:37 ==> Socket Error ; Cannot set receive timeout
Tue, 09 Jan 01 21:01:37 ==> Socket Error ; Cannot set send timeout
Tue, 09 Jan 01 21:01:37 ==> Socket Error ; Cannot set receive timeout

As I said before, this began when beta installed. Never saw this error
message before then. Is this something to be concerned about? How can
I correct the error?
