[pmmail-list] New beta breaks internet connection

Just installed the new beta this afternoon.  It seemed to work for a
while.  However,  the system locked and when rebooted, the problem
started.   I would open PMMail 2000 (the new beta), dialup would dial
my ISP.  After the connection was established, as soon as PMMail would
connect to POP the connection would immediately close.  On several
occasions the connection would not be completed.   It is not the ISP. 
Internet Explorer and NetScape both will dial up and complete
connection  and that connection will remain intact.  Likewise when I
boot eCS, the PMMail/2 works as always.

I tried to reinstall the earlier version but "about" still shows the
new beta.  What is the best way to back out of the new beta and
reinstall the old?
