Or, how about this.  

An email client is not a religious issue for me, it's a communications
tool.  As such, I'd like it to be as flexible as possible so that I can
communicate with anyone I wish regardless of whether they are sending
text or html messages.  I would no more criticize an email client for
seamlessly handling HTML email than I would a screwdriver set for
including Torx bits.

It's sometimes a minor annoyance when I need to remove a bolt with a
Torx head, but I never regret having a screwdriver set capable of doing
so.
