I have to add a correction to what I wrote a week ago, after I experimented
with LDAP searches today -- I did not have a functioning LDAP server with
actual addresses in it, but today I spent some time both with VPOP3's LDAP
server and searching for LDAP servers on the Internet, where I found some
working at universities, both in Europa and in North America.

The result is, that the LDAP implementation of PMMAil is better than I
thought.

Actually, the dialog which opens on double clicking an address found via a
LDAP search, hat an "ADD" button in place of the "OK" button, and this allows
to add that address to a local address book.

Nonetheless, a drag'n'drop into the message compose window would be nice to
have.
