[pmmail-list] 100% CPU during spell check

I had a similar problem under Win2k SP2 and I narrowed it down to a
conflict with my anti-virus software (EZAntivirus).  I "fixed" it by
upgrading my anti-virus software which allowed me to exclude certain
processes from monitoring.
