~    h.subject=""
A "(null)" usually means an empty string.
~  If the "Subject" field is missing altogether, use
~    !header="Subject"
which scans the header for the word "Subject" and activates if it is missing.
~  A complete empty/missing Subject field test:
(!header="Subject") | (h.subject="")
