  On the first page of the menu "PMMail" ==> "Properties", "General", 
you find a tick field "Check to see if PMMail 2000 is your default 
e-mail client". This is probably deactivated. 

  Activate that switch, and then PMMail should ask you at the next start 
if you want to make it to the default e-mail client. If you answer that 
question positive, then PMMail creates the necessary entries in the 
Registry so that PMMail is the "Command" for the "mailto" protocol. 

  Please let us know if that worked.
