This happened once before and was cured by removing a piece of software that hogged memory. This time, not only is the message field showing up blank, but he cannot forward mail either. A text editor can read the message OK. Any suggestions as to a solution - reindexing didn't help, neither did reinstalling over the top. -- Best regards, Xav From bbryan at austin.rr.com Mon Feb 19 18:54:36 2007 From: bbryan at austin.rr.com (Barry Bryan) Date: Mon, 19 Feb 2007 11:54:36 -0600 Subject: [pmmail-list] Blank messsage field In-Reply-To: <1145719805.20070219001508@glenmere.com> Message-ID: <200702191754.l1JHsdoM027853@ms-smtp-05.texas.rr.com> On Mon, 19 Feb 2007 00:15:08 +0000, Xav wrote: >Any suggestions as to a solution - reindexing didn't help, neither > did reinstalling over the top. IMHO, it's still a memory problem. It seems as though PMMAIL starts to do this anytime there is heavy usage of virtual memory. The only solution is to reboot. I solved the problem by updating to 2GB of RAM. Never experienced it myself in all the time I've used PMMail (since 1995 if the little grey cells remember correctly :-)) ) -- Best regards, Xav From jimoe at sohnen-moe.com Tue Feb 20 01:16:12 2007 From: jimoe at sohnen-moe.com (James Moe) Date: Mon, 19 Feb 2007 17:16:12 -0700 Subject: [pmmail-list] Blank messsage field In-Reply-To: <1145719805.20070219001508@glenmere.com> References: <1145719805.20070219001508@glenmere.com> Message-ID: <45DA3DCC.6000100@sohnen-moe.com> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Xav wrote: > > A friend using PMMAil for Windows has a recent problem with the > message field being blank when messages are opened.
