In-Reply-To: Message-ID: <0MKoyl-1H8z4g3Xzx-0007Wa@mrelay.perfora.net> I assume you fetch mail on both computers, and do not have one master copy of PMMail? Then no it is pretty ugly. If however, you have one configured to leave mail on the server, the fetching with the other makes that one have all messages, and then you can go into account properties and push the reset button for saved headers as the messages have all been fetched off of the server. Also, usually using PMMail on my desktop computer... when I go mobile I simply transfer all files to the laptop. Hope one of these options proves useful to you. I just tested the 3 mail servers that I deal with and the only one that doesn't work with either PMMail/2 or PMMail 2000, both via Comcast, is AT&T which I don't care about because I'm going to drop it soon. I'll have to switch to AT&T dial-up to send this message. My other reason still applies however, I would like to get an e-mail address that I can keep if I decide to change my ISP in the future. >Jack Weaver wrote: >> Does anybody know if the old version of PMMail/2, I'm using 2.10.2010, will work with e-mail providers >> such as lycos.com? Since then a team of developers and testers have been overhauling the code, adding new features and fixing bugs - Of which there were many. The result is a more feature rich and robust product. And before anyone asks - VOICE has no rights, or interest, in the Windows product which remains with the current owners. The VOICE board of directors have not yet decided on the commercial side of things, but we are very close to a public beta release. In the meantime you are invited to join us on the "New PMMail" discussion list. To subscribe send a message to: MajorMajor at os2voice.org with "subscribe NewPMDis" in the body of the mail - without the quotes. You may also be interested in the wiki http://pmmail.os2voice.org/index.php?title=Main_Page which has a wishlist amongst other things, although most of the wiki is restricted to the development team at present I think you just need to register to add things to the wishlist. New features include: modern authentication; improved; character set encodings; GNUPgp integration; BogoFilter integration; improved PMMSend and loads of bug fixes. If you have any questions, than please ask them over on the NewPMDis list - you are much more likely to get an answer there as most of the developers and testers read that list and not this one. See you there. -- Regards Dave Saville
