[pmmail-list] How to (automatically) convert UTF-8 encoded emails to ISO8859-1 ?

I am getting more and more emails which are not ISO but UTF-8 encoded (by the sending email client).

As fas as I know PMMail does not understand UTF-8

Or is there a workaround?

Is there any other way to convert them to UTF-8?
E.g. by using an intermediate proxy?
