Can PMMAIL (win) do this?

    What happens is exactly why I say it shouldn't be controlled by the
programs.  If you have one program set for one connection and log in with it,
then go to another application that uses another connection, the 2nd
application will prompt for one of two actions:  1: not to do anything since
it is on the wrong connection (IE, doesn't work).  2: disconnect and
reconnect with the new connection.

    In the nearly 3 years I was in tech support I always insisted that the
user connect *first* and then use the applications.  That way the dumb
applications aren't trying to override the established connections.  It is
bad juju, just don't go there.
