I too have had this problem and have reported it to Southsoft support
since last Fall, but the response has been that since there is no way
for them to monitor the TCP/IP connection, then there is nothing they
can do about it. I've suggested forcing a reconnect after a specified
amount of time following a hung connect attempt, but there was concern
expressed about possible negative side effects of that action. I would
strongly urge everyone who has these problems to file a bug report with
Southsoft, since there is no one from Southsoft reading this mailing
list and since whenever I complained, I was told that no one else had
reported a similar problem.

Also, I notice that everyone reporting this problem is using PMMail for
OS/2. Is anyone using the Windows version having a similar problem?
