I have never had a problem with autocheck.  Mine is set for 10
min and it does it just fine.  My isp doesn't have a timeout.  I
don't use InJoy dialer anymore, but I seem to recall InJoy had a
had a timeout.  I don't recall if that was resetable or not.  I
believe it timed out at 9999 minutes.
