Yes, you did say that, but to a nonprogrammer it sounded like adding a
thread would make it faster.  You needed to specify the reason for the
thread in the same sentence as saying that it needed a thread.  For
example:

"... and add multithreading to prevent locking the OS/2 input queue
wherever things take more than 0.1 s to complete"
