Even though Steve L. doesn't think it's worth it, I'll use it and mutt 
alike at work, dut to the lack of PMMail for Linux. I would, just like 
you, pay for a PMMail for Linux version. It definitely is better. 

OTOH, TkRat does IMAP, and PMMail doesn't (yet ?)

Try out the new beta (right now at 5) of the 2.0 version. It has RFC 
conform PGP handling (2.6.x and 5.x) and uses a nice database approach 
to storing messages.
