Oops, I read as existing INTERNAL editor dialog.

Somehow I still don't think I see what you're proposing. What would be
different with your idea than setting account settings to "Use External
Editor" in current versions of PMMail?

I personally dislike the existing external editor useage -- awkward and
not something I'd force on the 25 users I support.
