You can use the System Editor to add a subject line then resave the
message. You can automate this somewhat with a Rexx script and a manual
filter. Here is one option:
Manual filter-
Search: <header>
For: SMTP
Action: Rexx Exit (foreground) --> <path to Rexx script>

----- begin Rexx script -----
/* MsgEdit.cmd
   Edit email message using System Editor.

*/
/* Load Rexx Functions */
Call RxFuncAdd 'SysLoadFuncs','RexxUtil','SysLoadFuncs'
Call SysLoadFuncs
/* Get command line parameters */
parse arg Fname
/* Edit message with System Editor */
'e.exe' Fname
exit
----- end Rexx script -----

Recommend putting the Rexx script in your PMMail root directory. PMMail
sends as an argument the serialized file name of the filtered message and
the relative path to it from the PMMail root directory. The script assumes
that the System Editor is loaded on your system and can be found using
your path statement. I tested this script using an Incoming filter but it
causes POP timing errors. Using an Incoming null subject filter and this
script in background may work. I discovered that there is no subject line
in a message header when there is a null subject. I am working on a
simpler solution.
