Well, you're half right.  When I pushed that "send" button and saw
which sig went out, I literally rolled on the floor laughing --
delicious irony!  I usually use a four line sig, but sometimes use
longer sigs when relevent (which obviously wasn't the case here).  

Fumble?  Yes.  Hypocrisy?  No.  Join me in the laugh -- it really
*was* funny.
