Technically, the only reason DB2 for Linux is *not* free is because
there was too much interest in it. When some of DB2's largest
customers started to express an interest in their DB2 v5.2 Linux "beta"
(it never left beta), DB2 quickly decided to make a non-beta version,
and charge for it. Since it has only been publicly available for a few
months now, there's no telling if a profit can be made or not. But the
commercial interest definitely made it a likelihood. Let's wait a few
months to be sure.

OOTC: Unfortunately, PMMail doesn't have the market presence that DB2
has, giving it a much slimmer chance to make money there.
