OK, add my name to the list. US$20 for each of PMMail/2 and PMMail98.
Plus I would be willing to pay for a Linux version and I don't even have
Linux loaded yet (probably repartition and format in the next couple of
weeks). Since I consider PMMail to be the best email program available
for OS/2 and Win I would expect PMMail/Linux to be the best Linux emailer
as well, however, since I do not have any experience with the currently
available Linux programs a PMMail version added to the PMailPro package
is only worth about US$40 at this time.
BTW when cheap end users (OS/2 vs Linux) are being discussed how come
Windows users are not mentioned? Special category perhaps. My
experience with Windows email users is they feel that the Internet
Explorer included with their OS is a fine emailer and if they were going
to change/upgrade it would be to Outlook Express. If I do get to show
them what a real email program works like, PMMail of course, then they
are more likely to end up downloading Pegasus or Eudora Lite because
they're free. Why not PMMail? Apparently because if they are going to
pay real money for a program it won't be for some internet shareware
thingy, they will get a real commercial program, shrink wrapped and with
a known brand name like MS Outlook 2000 (gag!).
