What's in it for BSW?

I am not so sure about that. Apparently about a quarter of those on the mailing list 
were willing to pay 20 dollars for an upgrade. This must be at a much higher 
proportion than could be expected from other users. I would think it wildly 
optimistic to suppose no that 10 per cent of these users would be prepared to pay 
40 dollars for a new version. Many of them, like me, will have migrated to other 
operating systems and, unlike me, have been satisfied with the free mail client. 
Once the replacement market has been satisfied where is future business to come 
from ?

I am sure you are right but if BSW has a list of users why haven't they been 
circulated with news of the free up date? It would seem that only subscribers to 
this list know about it. 

I am happy with the PMmail 2000 as I was with 98 and as I was from the very 
first OS/2  version and I expect I will go on being happy as I understand  that it 
will run on Windows 2000. I am simply curious to know the commercial logic 
behind up grading or writing mail clients ...
