OK, this seems to be OK, but it still requires me to put in a carriage
return, otherwise my canned reply has ===BEGIN etc appended immediately
on the end.
I also note that if I add a carriage return to the end of the canned
reply, it is removed after saving the changes. When I reopen the canned
reply, there is no <cr> there. I suspect this is all tied up with the
behaviour seen. I can't imagine how it got broken, it has always worked
for me before since canned replies were introduced back in v1.5 I
think.
