v.2.10.2010 says 2.10.1999???

Well, you are correct.  There was another directory which had PMMail in
a subdirectory.  This was the target for the update.  Have no
recollection why that other PMMail was there nor how it got there.  But
that was it. 

I'll check the header, but I'm sure it will show 2.10.2010.
