Bleeding edge stuff like gaming APIs.  Yes.

But mostly Microsoft keeps adding APIs, the old ones remain unchanged.  The
base API has remained amazingly stable, even across Win16 vs Win32.

I have one quick answer to for that idea ---  No CheckFree Support

Although DOS Quicken does run fine under OS/2, it has Win2000 problems
(mostly cosmetic).
