Don't confuse ignorance with stupidity. Ignorance can sometimes be
cured. Stupidity often goes clear down to the bone. :-)

Not knowing you're doing something wrong is ignorance. 

Knowingly doing something without regard for how others have to deal
with it is thoughtlessness. 

Knowingly doing something that you can't figure out how to turn off,
that's stupidity.
