I was surprised at BSW's latest posting. It appears to be designed to
tip list members over the edge. If this is what Thomas intended it is a
very strange way to run a business, unless you are trying to get rid of
customers.
I've also been following the threads on Stardock's news server where
Brad Wardell is saying that they only ever have trouble from OS/2
users. Stardock is withdrawing OS/2 support from Feb 2001 as they cite
IBM's decision to kill OS/2 in 1996 has finally finished it for them.
I'm now resigned to having to move away from OS/2 once I get to the
point where it is no longer enough to do what I want, but PMMail,
PMINews and PMView are three of the main reasons to stick with it. One
of those is orphaned, the other two are in the hands of BSW. It isn't
reassuring and can only hasten the effective demise of OS/2 for me.
