Right. That is what I said before, wasn't it? Every display adaptor that
I have bought and used in recent memory provides that functionality so I don't
see how the Mac is special in this regard.

Yay. After sitting through a presentation from Apple I will never, ever,
EVER even consider anything that a Mac does worthy of consideration. The only
reason those blasted things sells is marketing and marketing is what dictates
/all/ decisions at Apple. /ALL/. There is not a single technical decision
that comes out of Apple without marketing and legal fscking it up somehow.
That is not something I would want to use for a computer.
