Obsolete, the new link is

http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-msgtrk-mtqp-03.txt

I note that this service wants the client to find it by RFC2782 SRV
records. It would be nice if PMMail could do the same for POP3 servers:
Provided with a domain name, PMM should first look for _pop3._tcp SRV
records for the domain, then fall back to an A record. I could then
list all 3 interfaces on my server in SRV records instead of
arbitrarily designating one with a cname as hostname "pop3". If an
interface goes down or becomes unreachable (which seems to happen quite
a bit from dodgy routers out on the Internet) the client can fall back
to an alternate interface connected to a different ISP.
