[pmmail-list] Scrolling thru messages

A friendy using PMMail has said that when he opens it now, it goes
thru message after message without stopping until it has viewed at
least seven (and so quickly they cannot be read).  Has anyone else
experienced this ?   Any possible causes ?    He is using the Windows
version but I can't be more specific as he just mentioned it in a quick
phone call.
