[pmmail-list] Is it possible to edit the subject of incoming messages ?

I do not understand what you mean.    I filter messages from a number
of OS/2 lists (seven at the moment) into paticular folders set up for
each list.   As I know which list it is from the folder, I do not like
seeing a list tag in the subject line.   I find it very distracting.   
The only way I see your option working is if you have one single inbox
in operation.
