Easy...

It's caused by stupid people who upload 791k messages to a public mailing
list...

next time, try converting it to a GIF!!! instead of a 512x384 24bit
uncompressed BMP (with all that lovely blank white space around the edges!).

The GIF version is 7120 bytes total!!
