[pmmail-list] Signatures change for canned replies

I have noticed that when I right-click and manually enter a canned message into a reply, the $signature.tag$ variable works as expected and uses the signature that is specified by the tag.  When that same canned message is automatically entered as a filter action (i.e., send canned reply), the program uses the default signature instead.  

Why is this and is there a workaround or fix planned?
