[pmmail-list] PMMail on my desktop, files on notebook?

I'm running PMMail on one machine and pointing to the messages on
another machine.  

I have a shortcut on my desktop that tells PMMail to start in a
folder on drive T:.  That works fine.

But when I click on a mailto: link, PMMail launches and tells me my
trial period is up.  I believe it's launching and looking on C: for
the license and mail folder.

Is there any way to change this?
