I think so. Although I haven't encountered it lately, at times in the
past, I didn't know whether I was getting a big message or my
connection was getting very slow (both have been true). I would
primarily be interested in the percentage and the total size (or the
downloaded size and the total size), but having all three would be
fine.

In short, I would like it, but don't find it critical.
