PRM does close the connection, which is the feature that I believe most
are asking for.  If you want to delete individual messages, then the
remote feature in PRM and PMMail is the only way to accomplish that. 
There are times, when because of a poor connection or an unexpectedly
large message, it would be nice to kill the connection and either
reconnect or go in with the remote feature and delete a particular
message.  The same, of course, is true if you are trying to upload a
large message through a poor connection.
