[pmmail-list] timeouts

We are not having any delays sending through SMTP authenticating
servers here (Peters reports no more than a second ot two).  He
believes that it is an issue with your server.

Did you find a reason why loggin in into SMTP (with and WITHOUT
authentication) takes so long in 2.2? It's really annoying (takes more
than a minute now from only few seconds in ver. 2.1).
