No, if I understood Curtis correctly, I believe you made the mistake. 
Like Curtis, I much prefer to see the reply at the top of the message. 
Should I then need to refresh my memory re earlier e-mails, I can
scroll down and read earlier exchanges.  This is much, much faster.
