[pmmail-list] Updated editor

[Jimmy S. McCorquodale, Jr.]

Their OS/2 editor has not had any work done on it in a couple of years
and no one at the company has anything to do with it anymore.  I
actually dug info up on that version at another sight.

Peter said it was nowhere at all near the level of the Windows one
(they sent us a copy).   He does have the source though and is looking
at porting it.

>From talking with their staff, the OS/2 version of the editor was
ported from the Windows version originally as well.

Is their OS/2 version so badly out of date that you can't use it at
all?
I guess you've determined that it is better to leave all of these
features
out of the OS/2 version, split the code and document it all
accordingly,
rather than use their OS/2 version and be without *some* of the
features?

That is, it is better to have none of the new editor features under
OS/2
rather than some of them?
